Following several communications from our Polish friends at Warta Poznan, we are delighted to be able to confirm once and for all, that our earlier proposed pre-season friendly game is now back-on and confirmed for Monday, 23rd July 2012 with a 7.30pm kick-off at Wheatsheaf Park.

Surely the most intriguing date of the Swans pre-season schedule of warm-up matches, we will be hosting Polish Liga 1 side Warta Poznan who will be in the UK for a couple of games, this after their own shared stadium in the western industrial city was  used extensively during the recent EURO2012 tournament. The Poles visit Staines on Monday, 23rd July after having played Aldershot Town on the previous Friday.

The Swans full, confirmed schedule of pre-season games is noted below, kicking-off with this Saturday’s match just up the road at Staines Lammas FC.
